About Estepona

Estepona, with a population of over 70,000 people, is the largest town on the Costa del Sol west of Marbella and a fantastic area to live and visit.
Its municipal territory includes the historic center, port, and marina, the New Golden Mile, which stretches east towards San Pedro Alcántara, and huge green spaces in the river valleys and hills behind the shore. A beautiful town to live in: Estepona, which is shielded by the Sierra Bermeja mountain range, has a pleasant microclimate with more than 325 sunny days a year.

The municipality features 21 kilometers of fine sand beaches on the Mediterranean Sea, many of which are calmer than other Costa del Sol locations even during peak season.

Estepona residents and visitors alike enjoy an excellent quality of life, with a superb selection of cafés, restaurants, and stores, as well as first-rate cultural and recreational facilities.

In addition, Estepona has an increasingly active real estate market that is receiving more attention from international buyers and investors. Estepona's ancient town, often known as "The Garden of the Costa del Sol," has preserved much of its beauty and authenticity despite expansion over the last several decades. In recent years, most of the core area has been remodeled and pedestrianized, with flowers and trees filling its ancient squares and streets. The coastal promenade (Paseo Martimo) covers the length of Playa de la Rada beach, east to the fishing port and marina. This is a popular spot for sailing and watersports enthusiasts, and it is flanked by a variety of foreign pubs and restaurants.
