The project
Aruna is laid out in two buildings of three storeys: ground, first and second floor. The ground floor holds apartments, some with a small private garden of roughly 6 to 16 m², the middle level has further apartments, and the penthouse sits on top. Every home has three or four bedrooms and three or four bathrooms, with en-suite bathrooms, and living space of about 130 to 141 m². Homes face south east or north west, and the complex enjoys views over the sea and the mountains.

Each property comes with a private terrace of 81 to 169 m², partly covered, and there is a solarium. Indoors you will find a fully fitted open-plan kitchen and lounge, fitted wardrobes, a utility room and double glazing. Comfort is handled by hot and cold air conditioning and water-based underfloor heating throughout, with electric heating in the bathrooms for quicker warmth. A home automation system lets you control various functions remotely.
Shared areas include landscaped gardens around a saltwater chlorinated pool, an indoor gym, a sauna and a coworking space. A lift serves the floors, the basement and the underground garage, and the whole site is gated. Energy comes partly from aerothermal technology and photovoltaic solar panels, and the homes carry an A energy rating.
Outdoor living is where these homes stand out. Terraces range from 81 to 169 m², in the largest cases exceeding the interior floor area, and part of each is covered. From the complex the outlook takes in both the sea and the mountains, while a few ground floor homes add a small private garden.
Everyday needs are well covered. Artola's centre is around 800 metres away, a supermarket about 1 km, and both Playa de Calahonda and the Puerto Cabopino marina roughly 1.5 km. Hospital Costa del Sol is around 8 km off and Málaga airport about 30 km. Inside the gated grounds residents have a saltwater pool, a gym, a sauna and underground parking, which makes Aruna easy to lock up and leave between visits.
Who is it for? Aruna suits golfers who want Cabopino's course practically on the doorstep, and families or groups of friends who need three or four bedrooms with a bathroom for each. As a second home it is practical too: gated, with a lift, garage and home automation. One point to weigh up: private gardens come only with a few ground floor homes and are small, around 6 to 16 m². Life outdoors here happens mainly on the generous terraces.
