We are responsible for the personal data we process through our website wesellhomes.es, through our app, and through our client system at crm.wesellhomes.es: our staff use it to help you and to email you, and it is where you view the properties we suggest to you. This policy explains what data that is, why we process it, how long we keep it and what you can do about it.

What data we process

If you use the app or the website without an account

You can browse, search, filter and swipe through properties without telling us anything. What the app remembers in that case, your recent searches and your choice of language, stays on your own device and never reaches us. Saving a property, saving a search profile, searching together in a group and asking us a question all need an account.

If you create an account or sign in

You sign in with your Google account or with your Apple account. There is no password with us: we never see your Google or Apple password and we do not store it. From that provider we receive your name and your email address, and we use those to create your profile. So we keep: your name, your email address, your choice of language and when you last signed in.

If you use Apple’s option to hide your email address, we receive a forwarding address from Apple instead of your real one. That works just as well for us.

Your phone number

We only ask for your phone number when you first ask us a question about a property, because that is when our agent calls you back. You type it in yourself and we do not verify it. You can change it at any time under Menu, in your profile. As long as you do not ask a question, we do not have your number.

If you give permission for WhatsApp

If you turn on in the app that our agent may contact you through WhatsApp, we record that, with the date on which you gave that permission. Turn it off again and the permission lapses.

If you send an enquiry

Your name, email address and phone number from your account, your message, and which property, which development or which search profile it is about. If you send the enquiry through the website, we also keep the time zone and language of your browser, and the country and town that belong to your IP address (where your internet provider is, not your address). We do not keep your IP address itself for this. That tells us whether you are already in Spain or still at home, so we can help you sooner.

If you send your agent a message

The text of your messages and of our agent’s replies, when each message was sent and read, and which homes or projects a message refers to. You have one chat with us, and it belongs to your account.

If we suggest properties to you

If your agent sends you properties, by email or in the chat, we record which properties they were, through which channel, which member of staff sent them and when. Each property in such an email has a button to your own page at crm.wesellhomes.es. There you choose Want to view or Not for me for each property, and with Not for me you can add a reason from a fixed list if you wish (price, location, too small, something else, or rather not say). Properties you want to view go onto your viewing list. You send that list to us with one preferred date and, if you like, a short remark; if a viewing is already planned for you, you can also ask for the properties to be added to it. When your agent confirms the viewing, we record the day, the start and end time and the properties, and you get the confirmation by email. So we keep which properties we sent you, your choices and reasons, your viewing list, your requests with date and remark, and the confirmed viewings, each with its time. The link in such an email works for 180 days.

Sometimes we suggest a property that is not in our own listings, for example one on Idealista. We record it with the link, the title, the town, the price and the number of bedrooms, and sometimes a photo our member of staff adds themselves. That is data about a property, not about you.

Notes on a suggested property

On that same page you can write a note on a property, and your agent can do the same in our client system. These notes are meant for you and your agent together: you both see them, and they are also visible to the other members of staff in our office, like the rest of your file. So do not write anything there that you want to keep to yourself. These are different notes from the ones you write about your favourites in the app; see What our staff can see.

If you open your selection on a new device

An email can be forwarded, and whoever has the link must not be able to choose in your name. So the first time you open your selection on a phone or computer, the page first asks you to confirm that it is you. With one tap we send a six-digit code to the email address we have for you. The code is valid for 15 minutes and stops working after five wrong attempts. We keep the code itself only until the email has been sent; after that we hold only an unreadable derivative of it (a hash), with the time it was requested and used and the number of attempts. If the code is right, the page places a cookie on your device holding a random string of characters, so you will not need a code there for 90 days (see Cookies). Of that string, too, we keep only a hash, with the date the device was recognised, when it was last used, and whether and when access was revoked. This means we do not know which device or browser you use. Your agent can see how many of your devices are recognised and can revoke access for all of them at once, for example if you lose a phone; just ask. After that the page asks for a code again. We put no tracking pixels in our emails and do not record whether you open an email: the photos are inside the email itself, and opening it tells us nothing.

What you do in the app while signed in

Your favourite properties and the notes you write about them. Your search profiles: the towns, prices, property types and other features you are looking for, with the name you give the profile. The groups in which you search together with others, who is in them, and what is shared there. Which properties from the group you liked or skipped in Discover, and the matches: properties that you and another member both said yes to. Are you searching for a home together with your partner, a friend or several people? Then the properties you save as favourites also count towards matches. What only you save, nobody else sees. If someone you search with saves the same property, it is a match and you both see that property.

Using the website involves processing data such as your IP address, your device and browser type, and which pages you visit. See the chapter on cookies.

What our staff can see

This is the part we want to state most plainly, because it goes further than you may expect.

Our staff can see your file. That means: your name and contact details, whether you gave permission for WhatsApp, your search profiles, your favourites, your enquiries, and when you last signed in. They can do so whether or not you have shared anything with us. The reason is that we are an estate agency and not a listings site: we search alongside you, and that only works if a member of staff can see what you are looking for. If you are signed in, they can always see which properties and developments you looked at in the app, saved, enquired about, or asked your agent about, on the basis of our legitimate interest. If you object by emailing info@wesellhomes.es, we stop.

The whole office can read your messages. Your personal agent answers them, but every member of staff can read the chat, so you are helped even when your agent is away. If you get a different agent, they read back through the chat. Only your own agent and our administrators can reply to you. In the app you see a business card for your agent: name, photo, work number and languages, never their private details.

A member of staff can also create a search profile for you. After a phone call, for instance. That profile then appears in your app, and we record which member of staff created it and when.

Our staff also keep internal notes and tasks. For example that you prefer to be called after 18:00, or that a viewing is planned. You do not see them in the app, but you can request them with an access request.

If you email us, we keep that in your file too. Our client system reads the mailboxes of our staff and of our general address info@wesellhomes.es, and from them keeps only email in which you, as our client, are the sender, a recipient or in cc. It skips drafts, spam and the bin. As soon as a member of staff opens your file for the first time, we collect that email from the twelve months before, and keep it up to date from then on. We keep the full text, the subject, the sender and the recipients, and for an attachment only its name and size, never the attachment itself. If someone else is in the same email, for example your partner or your notary, their address and what they wrote are kept as part of that email. Our staff can also email you from our client system: that email goes out from their own mailbox with us, with their name as sender, and enters your file in the same way. This email is visible to our office staff, like the rest of your file, and we keep it just as long.

Properties we suggested to you, and what you did with them. Our staff can see which properties you received from us and when, what you chose and why, your viewing list, your requests and the viewings that have been arranged. Your agent uses that to prepare a viewing and to search further in a more targeted way.

Notes on a suggested property are not private. What you write on your page about a suggested property is read by your agent, and by the other members of staff in our office too. What your agent writes there, you read. That is different from our office’s internal notes above, which you do not see in the app or on your page.

If you no longer want to be contacted, let us know at info@wesellhomes.es. We then set your file to “no contact”: it is kept, but our staff will not contact you any more. You can always keep writing to us yourself.

If our office registered you earlier, for example after a phone call, and you later create an account with the same email address, we link the two, so your agent knows what has already been discussed.

What a member of staff cannot do: sign in as you, reach your Google or Apple account, or change or delete your own search profiles. What is shared in the groups where you search together with family or friends, and the notes you write about properties in such a group, is not visible to our staff, with one exception: when two or more members of a group say yes to the same property, a match, your agent sees which property, with whom in the group and when. What you skipped, nobody sees, not even the other members. The notes you write about your own favourites in the app are for you: our client system does not show them to our staff. Only the notes on a property we suggested to you, on your page at crm.wesellhomes.es, are meant to be shared with our office.

What you can choose yourself: in the app you can ask us to search alongside you actively. That puts your search on the office work list, so an agent gets to work on it specifically. You can withdraw that request at any time.

Sharing with others

With your group. If you share a search profile or a property with a group you created yourself, its members see what you share, and they can also change or delete a shared search profile. You decide who you invite and you can undo sharing.

With parties who work for us. We outsource part of the technology. We have a processing agreement with each of them; they may use your data only to provide that service to us.

  • Supabase: database, user accounts and sign-in. Servers in Ireland, inside the European Union.
  • Google and Apple: the sign-in itself. If you choose one of the two when signing in, that happens at their end and not at ours; they then tell us who you are, with your name and your email address. They are themselves responsible for what they do with your data, so their own privacy policy applies to that.
  • Hetzner: two servers in Germany. One updates our listings and, at the request of a member of staff, fetches the details of an offering agency. The other runs our client system: the workspace of our staff, the page where you view the properties we suggested to you, and the link with our email inbox. That second one stores nothing itself: your data stays in our database at Supabase.
  • Resales Online: the system in which the property listings of ours and of partner agencies are maintained, and from which we take the details of the offering agency to arrange a viewing.
  • MailerLite: sending our newsletter.
  • WP Mail SMTP: sending the email that comes out of our website, such as the confirmation of an enquiry.
  • Google Workspace: our email inbox. Our client system reads the email with clients from it, sends through Google the email our staff send you from that system, and sends the six-digit codes for your page. Enquiries from the app also reach that inbox through Google.
  • CleanTalk: checks forms for spam; the contents of a submitted form are put to that service for that purpose.
  • MaxMind: for an enquiry through the website, looks up which country and town your IP address belongs to. We keep only the result, not your IP address.
  • Cloudflare: security, speed, and the check that establishes you are not a robot.
  • Trustindex: shows our Google reviews on the website.
  • Innotech (InmoLink): the system behind the property search on the website.
  • Google (Firebase and Google Ads): measures use of the app and the performance of our advertising, only if you turn that on.
  • Expo (650 Industries): delivering push messages to your phone, through the services of Apple and Google. For this, Expo receives your device’s push address and the text of the message.

With partner agencies. Part of the range belongs to fellow agencies. If you ask about such a property or want to view it, we share your contact details with that agency, because a viewing cannot be arranged otherwise.

For estate agents: your own data with us. This part is not about our clients but about the agents we work with. If a property of your agency is in our listings and our member of staff needs to arrange a viewing, our system, at their request, takes from the agent area of Resales Online: the name, address, general phone number, email address and website of your agency, the names, roles and mobile numbers of the staff listed with the property, and the commission split. Our staff can complete or correct those details, and add practical arrangements, such as where the key is. We use them only to arrange viewings and to handle the cooperation around that property. Only our staff see them; clients do not, and we pass them on to no one. The legal basis is our legitimate interest and that of your agency in selling the property together (art. 6(1)(f)): these are business contact details that agencies publish themselves in Resales Online for its member agents, precisely to make this kind of cooperation possible. We keep them for as long as the property is in our listings; when it comes off the market, they disappear with it automatically. You can object to this use, and ask for access, correction or erasure, at info@wesellhomes.es. If you object, we erase your details for that property and stop retrieving them for it.

With nobody else. We do not sell your data and we do not rent it out.

The map of new-build projects. If you tap “Map” on a new-build page, your browser fetches the map from OpenFreeMap (map data from OpenStreetMap). OpenFreeMap sees your IP address, as any website you visit does; no cookies are set and we pass nothing else to OpenFreeMap. Without that tap, nothing is fetched from OpenFreeMap.

We process your data inside the European Economic Area. Where a transfer outside it is unavoidable in an individual case, that happens only on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission or of standard contractual clauses. For signing in with Google or Apple, that party’s privacy policy applies; data may be processed outside the EEA there.

Deleting your account

This section is about the app WeSellHomes.es Real Estate, published by Hamoedie Invest SL. In the app, under Menu, you will find the Delete account button. With it you close your account yourself, straight away and without having to ask us.

What disappears immediately: your profile with your name, email address and phone number, your favourite properties and the notes you wrote about them, your search profiles, the groups you created and your membership of other people’s groups, and your sign-in details with us. This does not come back.

What stays: enquiries you sent us, the chat with your agent, and whatever else our client file holds about you: the email between you and our staff, the properties we suggested to you with your choices, your viewing requests and viewings, and the notes on those properties. We keep those for 48 months after the last contact about them, as set out in the table above. So your name and your message remain in there. We record against such an enquiry that the account behind it has been deleted. We keep the chat with your agent in the same way: 48 months after the last message, with a note that your account was deleted. Your page with suggested properties does not depend on your account: if you no longer want to use it either, or want us to revoke access for your devices, email info@wesellhomes.es.

If you can no longer get into the app, for instance because you have already removed it, send a message to info@wesellhomes.es. Then we will do it for you. We will ask you to identify yourself, so that we can be sure we are closing the right account.

Deleting only part of your data. You do not have to close your whole account to remove something. A favourite, a note or a search profile you delete yourself in the app, on the screen where it sits. If you want anything else erased, write to info@wesellhomes.es and we will do it. A choice on your page with suggested properties you undo yourself; a note you wrote there, we remove at your request. See Your rights below.

Cookies

Without your consent we place no cookie at all for statistics or marketing, and no script from another party loads. We measured that on 17 September 2026: anyone opening our website who has not yet chosen anything gets exactly one cookie, which remembers which version of the page may come out of our cache. Nothing more.

If you choose to allow statistics or marketing cookies, we use Google services to see how our website is found and used, and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. An encrypted representation of your email address or phone number may be passed to Google in that process if you have filled in a form, so that an advertisement can be linked to an enquiry.

Exactly which cookies those are, whose they are, what they are for and how long they stay is kept on our cookie statement. That list is maintained automatically and is therefore always more current than a list here would be.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Our client page at crm.wesellhomes.es. On the page where you view the properties we suggested to you, one cookie is placed after you confirm with a code: wsh_toegang. It holds a random string of characters by which we recognise your device, and nothing else; it holds at most five, for example if several of our clients use the same device. It is valid for 90 days, is sent only to that client page, only over an encrypted connection, and cannot be read by scripts on the page. This is a strictly necessary cookie: without it the page cannot establish that it is you, which is why we do not ask for consent for it. The client page places no statistics or advertising cookies. If you delete the cookie, the page simply asks for a code again next time.

The app uses no cookies. Until you have chosen, the app asks in a bar at the bottom of the screen whether you allow measurement and ads. The app works as normal in the meantime, even if you choose nothing. You choose Agree, No, thanks, or, through More, the two choices separately; refusing is as easy as allowing, and until you choose everything stays off. If you say yes, the app asks again after 24 months; if you say no, or later switch everything off, it asks again after twelve months. Each new choice starts its own term. Turn on Improve the app and we measure, with Google’s Firebase Analytics, which screens and features get used and how often. We never send along who you are or which properties you look at, and never your name, e-mail address or phone number. Turn on Measure our ads as well and we share that data with Google Ads, so we can see whether our ads reach the right people. Google Ads also uses that data to decide who sees our ads and to tailor them accordingly, for example by showing an ad of ours again to people who have already used the app (remarketing). Google recognises your device only by an anonymous code from the app and, if you allow ads, by your phone’s advertising ID. On an iPhone the app then also asks Apple’s permission; if you say no there, ad measurement stays off. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under Menu, Privacy choices, Measurement and ads. What the app otherwise keeps on your device, such as your choice of language, stays there and is not sent to us.

Notifications

If you have saved a search profile, we let you know when new listings come in that fit it. If your agent sends you a message, we let you know about that too. That happens by e-mail and, if you turn it on, on your phone.

By e-mail. The summary of new listings comes at most once a day and is on by default, because by saving a search profile you asked us to search for you. If you have not read a message from your agent after two hours, you get a reminder e-mail about it, which is on by default for the same reason. There is no switch for this in the app: the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each e-mail, which works without signing in, turns both off at once. If you want them again afterwards, e-mail info@wesellhomes.es and we will turn them back on for you.

On your phone, only if you turn it on in the app and your phone gives permission. For that we keep your device’s push address, which is used only to deliver this message. One switch covers both kinds of push here too: the summary of new listings arrives at fixed moments, twice a day by default, and never between 21:00 and 09:00, while a push about a message from your agent always arrives right away, even in the evening, because that belongs to an ongoing chat and not to a fixed moment. You turn push off under Menu, Privacy choices, or in your phone’s settings. When you sign out, we disconnect the push address from your account.

Every search profile notifies you of new listings that fit it; that is what a search profile is for. You turn push on or off under Menu, Privacy choices, and you stop the e-mail with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each one. If you no longer want to hear anything about a search profile, delete it under Profiles.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • see what data we hold about you;
  • have it corrected if it is wrong;
  • have it deleted;
  • have the processing restricted;
  • object to processing on the ground of legitimate interest, expressly including against our staff looking on;
  • receive or have transferred your data in a common file format;
  • withdraw a consent you gave, without that affecting what already happened before.

Send a message to info@wesellhomes.es for that. We respond within a month. To prevent us giving data to the wrong person, we may ask you to identify yourself.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es). If you live in another EU country, you can also go to the authority there.

How we protect your data

The connection with our app and website is encrypted. The app does not work with passwords: you sign in at Google or Apple, and all we receive from that is the confirmation that it is you. So a password of yours never passes through us and cannot leak at our end either. Who may see what data is laid down in the database itself and not in the app, so that those rules apply everywhere and cannot be circumvented. Only someone with a WeSellHomes work account can sign in as staff, and we can revoke that access immediately. Which employee links a client, updates an enquiry or does anything on a client’s behalf is recorded. On your page with suggested properties, only a device confirmed with a code by email can choose, and of that code and of your device we hold only a hash. A stolen copy of our database is therefore no key to your page.

Children

Our service is not aimed at people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We adjust this policy when our service changes. The date at the top says when that last happened. In the event of a material change, a new purpose or a new recipient for instance, we let you know in the app or by email.

Sign in to your account

With the same account as in the app: your favourites, your requests and your chat with your agent.

The same account as in the WeSellHomes app.
