Brightbay is a new-build collection of villas in La Herradura, the bay on the western edge of Almuñécar on the Costa Tropical. Playa de los Berengueles is roughly 200 metres from the complex, and from the terraces you look out over sea, sand and the mountains that rise steeply behind this stretch of coast. If the water is the reason you are buying, the car can largely stay parked.
Every villa has three bedrooms and four bathrooms, with roughly 292 to 369 m² of living space. What really sets these homes apart is the outdoor space: terraces of about 234 to 446 m², a private garden of 50 to 210 m² and a pool of your own, plus a basement, a solarium and a private parking space.
The complex is gated and guarded around the clock. A food shop is around 400 metres away on foot and the centre of La Herradura about 1.5 km. Los Moriscos Club de Golf lies some 14.5 km off. For flights, Granada airport is about 52 km away and Málaga about 69 km, both measured as straight-line distances on the map.

The project
Brightbay is a gated group of villas on the La Herradura seafront. The homes face east, so the morning sun reaches the terraces, and they look across the bay of Marina del Este, the beach and the surrounding hills. Inside, the emphasis is on volume and daylight: three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a fourth bathroom, a double-height living room and glazing running from floor to ceiling. The kitchen comes fully fitted and opens onto the lounge, and the suites have terraces with a jacuzzi.
