Community fees (cuotas de comunidad) vary widely by complex. Standard apartment buildings: €80–€250 per month. Complexes with a pool, gardens, concierge and spa: €250–€600 per month. Luxury seafront complexes with 24/7 security and a beach club can cost €600–€1,200+ per month. We give you a detailed cost breakdown for each property before you make an offer.

Can I rent out my apartment in Fuengirola, and what is the yield?

Yes. Fuengirola has an excellent rental profile thanks to its long season and proximity to the airport. Holiday letting typically delivers a gross yield of 4.5–7.5% a year; long-term letting to expats 3.5–5%. For short-term holiday lets you need a mandatory RTA licence (Registro de Turismo de Andalucía) and often approval from the community of owners.
