Right beside the open green of Parque de Pegaso, Alma Bungalows 4 is a small new-build scheme in Pilar de la Horadada, the southernmost town of the Costa Blanca before the coastline crosses into Murcia. It offers three-bedroom, two-bathroom bungalows set in a single block, split between ground-floor and first-floor homes. Each one comes with its own swimming pool and a south-facing terrace, with interiors from roughly 85 to 120 m².
The appeal here is how little you need the car. Groceries are about 300 metres away, the centre of Pilar is around 1.5 km off and Playa de las Higuericas is a similar distance as the crow flies. Golfers have a course roughly 4 km away, while boat owners can head to Puerto Deportivo Miguel Caballero at about 5.5 km.
For flights, Región de Murcia (RMU) is the obvious choice at around 31 km in a straight line. Alicante-Elche (ALC) adds about twenty kilometres but tends to have the wider route network from the UK. Torrevieja's university hospital is some 13 km away.
