Altos del Chaparral is a new-build community in Mijas Costa, the coastal side of Mijas on the Costa del Sol, set roughly 300 metres from El Chaparral Golf Club. It sits between Fuengirola and La Cala de Mijas, with Playa El Chaparral about 1.5 km away, Fuengirola's marina at around 4.5 km and Málaga airport some 23 km off, all measured as the crow flies.
Nine blocks rise from ground level to a third floor. Homes have one to three bedrooms and roughly 47 to 156 m² of living space, and every one has its own terrace: around 12 m² on the smallest flats, up to about 270 m² on the largest penthouses. Some ground-floor homes also have a private garden of 30 to 60 m².
Behind the gates, residents share landscaped gardens, a heated indoor pool, a gym, a sauna and a padel court. Lifts, a garage with an EV charging point, storage rooms and photovoltaic panels make it a practical choice for living here full time, or for a second home you want to use through the winter as well as the summer.
