High on the Real de la Quinta estate, Vista Lago Residences is a new-build collection of contemporary villas in Benahavís on the Costa del Sol. The homes sit at 365 metres on a sloping hillside around a 36,000 m² private lake with its own man-made beach. Each house was drawn for its particular plot, and plots range from about 1,100 m² to more than a hectare.
For a buyer, that means a lot of space and quiet, with the coast still close by. Every villa has three or four en-suite bedrooms, roughly 460 to 712 m² of living space, a private pool and terraces facing south to west. The views take in the lake, the golf courses, the mountains and the sea.
Measured in a straight line, Artola, the nearest village, is about 3 km away. The German Golf Academy driving range is 1.5 km away and Playa de Levante is 5.5 km away. The estate is gated with round-the-clock security, and Málaga Airport is around 46 km away.

Cars are parked under cover in an underground garage that holds two or three vehicles. Depending on the model, there is also a private wellness area with an indoor pool that is heated, a sauna or a home cinema. Home automation, underfloor heating, double glazing and fitted wardrobes are standard, and photovoltaic panels generate electricity.
The Real de la Quinta estate is gated and has 24-hour security. Footpaths and cycle routes circle the lake. Residents can use an executive golf course, a wellness centre with a heated 25-metre pool, spa and sauna, tennis and padel courts, a kids' club and an equestrian centre. The estate lies next to a UNESCO-listed biosphere reserve.
