Villa for sale in Algarrobo

There are houses where you notice the rooms first. And there are houses where your eyes go straight outside south, south-east, south-west and simply stay there. This villa in Arenas sits on 8,046 m2 of rustic land in the hills of the Axarquía, and the orientation is everything. Three compass points open to the sea and the mountain ridges beyond, and the light shifts across them from morning to dusk in ways that are genuinely difficult to describe on a page. The property sits quietly within its landscape rather than imposing on it. High stone walls at the entrance keep the outside world at a respectful distance. The living hall sets the tone the moment you step inside. Five metres from floor to ceiling, it draws the eye upward before it draws it outward and then outward it goes, through glass, to the terrace and the pool and the hills rolling south toward the coast. The 197 m2 of living space across two bedrooms and two bathrooms is arranged with clear intention. Underfloor heating in the living hall, the main bedroom and the bathrooms, with panel radiators elsewhere in the house, keeps it comfortable through the cooler months. A fireplace adds another register entirely on winter evenings when the Axarquía valleys fill with mist and the sea glitters cold and silver in the distance. The private pool and the terrace form a single coherent outdoor room with the living hall not three separate features but one composed space that makes sense from every angle. Mornings here tend to unfold slowly: coffee on the terrace, the first warmth on stone, views that ask nothing of you except that you look. The garage and several open parking spaces handle the practical side of rural living without fuss. The current owner has furnished the house with care and a particular sensibility Italian-style furniture, a Moroccan rug, books, classical music within reach. None of it feels staged. It feels inhabited. Buyers who respond to atmosphere rather than square footage will understand immediately. This is a property for those who have decided that space, quiet, and a long view matter more than proximity to the centre of things and who want to spend serious time here, whether that means several months a year or all of them. We would be delighted to present this property to you soon, either ‌in ‌person ‌or ‌via virtual ‌viewing. ‌Because ‌this ‌world is ‌unique ‌just ‌like our ‌Axarquía. ‌In Andalusia. ‌On ‌the Costa del Sol. ‌Here, ‌on ‌the ‌sunny ‌side ‌of ‌life...
