We are responsible for the personal data we process through our website wesellhomes.es and through our app. This policy explains what data that is, why we process it, how long we keep it and what you can do about it.

What data we process

If you use the app or the website without an account

You can browse, search, filter and swipe through properties without telling us anything. What the app remembers in that case, your recent searches and your choice of language, stays on your own device and never reaches us. Saving a property, saving a search profile, searching together in a group and asking us a question all need an account.

If you create an account or sign in

You sign in with your Google account or with your Apple account. There is no password with us: we never see your Google or Apple password and we do not store it. From that provider we receive your name and your email address, and we use those to create your profile. So we keep: your name, your email address, your choice of language and when you last signed in.

If you use Apple's option to hide your email address, we receive a forwarding address from Apple instead of your real one. That works just as well for us.

Your phone number

We only ask for your phone number when you first ask us a question about a property, because that is when our agent calls you back. You type it in yourself and we do not verify it. You can change it at any time under Menu, in your profile. As long as you do not ask a question, we do not have your number.

If you give permission for WhatsApp

If you turn on in the app that our agent may contact you through WhatsApp, we record that, with the date on which you gave that permission. Turn it off again and the permission lapses.

If you send an enquiry

Your name, email address and phone number from your account, your message, and which property, which development or which search profile it is about.

If you send your agent a message

The text of your messages and of our agent's replies, when each message was sent and read, and which homes or projects a message refers to. You have one chat with us, and it belongs to your account.

What you do in the app while signed in

Your favourite properties and the notes you write about them. Your search profiles: the towns, prices, property types and other features you are looking for, with the name you give the profile. The groups in which you search together with others, who is in them, and what is shared there.

Technical data

Using the website involves processing data such as your IP address, your device and browser type, and which pages you visit. See the chapter on cookies.

What our staff can see

This is the part we want to state most plainly, because it goes further than you may expect.

Our staff can see your file. That means: your name and contact details, whether you gave permission for WhatsApp, your search profiles, your favourites, your enquiries, and when you last signed in. They can do so whether or not you have shared anything with us. The reason is that we are an estate agency and not a listings site: we search alongside you, and that only works if a member of staff can see what you are looking for. If you are signed in, they can always see which properties and developments you looked at in the app, saved, enquired about, or asked your agent about, on the basis of our legitimate interest. If you object by emailing in**@*********es.es, we stop.

The whole office can read your messages. Your personal agent answers them, but every member of staff can read the chat, so you are helped even when your agent is away. If you get a different agent, they read back through the chat. Only your own agent and our administrators can reply to you. In the app you see a business card for your agent: name, photo, work number and languages, never their private details.

A member of staff can also create a search profile for you. After a phone call, for instance. That profile then appears in your app, and we record which member of staff created it and when.

Our staff also keep internal notes and tasks. For example that you prefer to be called after 18:00, or that a viewing is planned. You do not see them in the app, but you can request them with an access request.

If you no longer want to be contacted, let us know at in**@*********es.es. We then set your file to "no contact": it is kept, but our staff will not contact you any more. You can always keep writing to us yourself.

If our office registered you earlier, for example after a phone call, and you later create an account with the same email address, we link the two, so your agent knows what has already been discussed.

What a member of staff cannot do: sign in as you, reach your Google or Apple account, or change or delete your own search profiles. What is shared in the groups where you search together with family or friends, and the notes you write there about properties, is not visible to our staff.

What you can choose yourself: in the app you can ask us to search alongside you actively. That puts your search on the office work list, so an agent gets to work on it specifically. You can withdraw that request at any time.

Sharing with others

With your group. If you share a search profile or a property with a group you created yourself, its members see what you share, and they can also change or delete a shared search profile. You decide who you invite and you can undo sharing.

With parties who work for us. We outsource part of the technology. We have a processing agreement with each of them; they may use your data only to provide that service to us.

  • Supabase: database, user accounts and sign-in. Servers in Ireland, inside the European Union.
  • Google and Apple: the sign-in itself. If you choose one of the two when signing in, that happens at their end and not at ours; they then tell us who you are, with your name and your email address. They are themselves responsible for what they do with your data, so their own privacy policy applies to that.
  • Hetzner: two servers in Germany. One updates our listings, the other runs the system in which our staff view your file. That second one stores nothing itself: your data stays in our database at Supabase.
  • Resales Online: the system in which the property listings of ours and of partner agencies are maintained.
  • MailerLite: sending our newsletter.
  • WP Mail SMTP: sending the email that comes out of our website, such as the confirmation of an enquiry.
  • Google Workspace: our email inbox, and forwarding enquiries from the app to that inbox.
  • CleanTalk: checks forms for spam; the contents of a submitted form are put to that service for that purpose.
  • Cloudflare: security, speed, and the check that establishes you are not a robot.
  • Trustindex: shows our Google reviews on the website.
  • Innotech (InmoLink): the system behind the property search on the website.
  • Google (Firebase and Google Ads): measures use of the app and the performance of our advertising, only if you turn that on.
  • Expo (650 Industries): delivering push messages to your phone, through the services of Apple and Google. For this, Expo receives your device's push address and the text of the message.

With partner agencies. Part of the range belongs to fellow agencies. If you ask about such a property, we share your contact details with that agency, because a viewing cannot be arranged otherwise.

With nobody else. We do not sell your data and we do not rent it out.

We process your data inside the European Economic Area. Where a transfer outside it is unavoidable in an individual case, that happens only on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission or of standard contractual clauses. For signing in with Google or Apple, that party's privacy policy applies; data may be processed outside the EEA there.

How long we keep data

What How long
Your account and everything attached to it as long as you have the account. If you delete it, it disappears from our systems immediately and from the backups within three months
Enquiries 48 months after the last contact about them
Messages with your agent 48 months after the last message in the chat
Your phone number as long as you have the account, or until you remove it yourself
Your permission for WhatsApp until you withdraw it or delete your account
Records of actions by our staff 24 months
What you looked at in the app, for your agent twelve months

Your device's push address until you sign out or delete your account, or until your phone invalidates it
Data we are required to keep for tax purposes as long as Spanish law prescribes, as a rule four to six years

If you want to leave sooner, we delete your account and everything attached to it, except what we are legally required to keep.

Deleting your account

This section is about the app WeSellHomes.es Real Estate, published by Hamoedie Invest SL. In the app, under Menu, you will find the Delete account button. With it you close your account yourself, straight away and without having to ask us.

What disappears immediately: your profile with your name, email address and phone number, your favourite properties and the notes you wrote about them, your search profiles, the groups you created and your membership of other people's groups, and your sign-in details with us. This does not come back.

What stays: enquiries you sent us, and the chat with your agent. Those belong to our client file and we keep them for 48 months after the last contact about them, as set out in the table above. So your name and your message remain in there. We record against such an enquiry that the account behind it has been deleted. We keep the chat with your agent in the same way: 48 months after the last message, with a note that your account was deleted.

If you can no longer get into the app, for instance because you have already removed it, send a message to in**@*********es.es. Then we will do it for you. We will ask you to identify yourself, so that we can be sure we are closing the right account.

Deleting only part of your data. You do not have to close your whole account to remove something. A favourite, a note or a search profile you delete yourself in the app, on the screen where it sits. If you want anything else erased, write to in**@*********es.es and we will do it. See Your rights below.

Cookies

Without your consent we place no cookie at all for statistics or marketing, and no script from another party loads. We measured that on 17 September 2026: anyone opening our website who has not yet chosen anything gets exactly one cookie, which remembers which version of the page may come out of our cache. Nothing more.

If you choose to allow statistics or marketing cookies, we use Google services to see how our website is found and used, and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. An encrypted representation of your email address or phone number may be passed to Google in that process if you have filled in a form, so that an advertisement can be linked to an enquiry.

Exactly which cookies those are, whose they are, what they are for and how long they stay is kept on our cookie statement. That list is maintained automatically and is therefore always more current than a list here would be.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

The app uses no cookies. Until you have chosen, the app asks in a bar at the bottom of the screen whether you allow measurement and ads. The app works as normal in the meantime, even if you choose nothing. You choose Agree, No, thanks, or, through More, the two choices separately; refusing is as easy as allowing, and until you choose everything stays off. If you say yes, the app asks again after 24 months; if you say no, or later switch everything off, it asks again after twelve months. Each new choice starts its own term. Turn on Improve the app and we measure, with Google's Firebase Analytics, which screens and features get used and how often. We never send along who you are or which properties you look at, and never your name, e-mail address or phone number. Turn on Measure our ads as well and we share that data with Google Ads, so we can see whether our ads reach the right people. Google Ads also uses that data to decide who sees our ads and to tailor them accordingly, for example by showing an ad of ours again to people who have already used the app (remarketing). Google recognises your device only by an anonymous code from the app and, if you allow ads, by your phone's advertising ID. On an iPhone the app then also asks Apple's permission; if you say no there, ad measurement stays off. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under Menu, Privacy choices, Measurement and ads. What the app otherwise keeps on your device, such as your choice of language, stays there and is not sent to us.

Notifications

If you have saved a search profile, we let you know when new listings come in that fit it. If your agent sends you a message, we let you know about that too. That happens by e-mail and, if you turn it on, on your phone.

By e-mail. The summary of new listings comes at most once a day and is on by default, because by saving a search profile you asked us to search for you. If you have not read a message from your agent after two hours, you get a reminder e-mail about it, which is on by default for the same reason. There is no switch for this in the app: the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each e-mail, which works without signing in, turns both off at once. If you want them again afterwards, e-mail in**@*********es.es and we will turn them back on for you.

On your phone, only if you turn it on in the app and your phone gives permission. For that we keep your device's push address, which is used only to deliver this message. One switch covers both kinds of push here too: the summary of new listings arrives at fixed moments, twice a day by default, and never between 21:00 and 09:00, while a push about a message from your agent always arrives right away, even in the evening, because that belongs to an ongoing chat and not to a fixed moment. You turn push off under Menu, Privacy choices, or in your phone's settings. When you sign out, we disconnect the push address from your account.

Every search profile notifies you of new listings that fit it; that is what a search profile is for. You turn push on or off under Menu, Privacy choices, and you stop the e-mail with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each one. If you no longer want to hear anything about a search profile, delete it under Profiles.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • see what data we hold about you;
  • have it corrected if it is wrong;
  • have it deleted;
  • have the processing restricted;
  • object to processing on the ground of legitimate interest, expressly including against our staff looking on;
  • receive or have transferred your data in a common file format;
  • withdraw a consent you gave, without that affecting what already happened before.

Send a message to in**@*********es.es for that. We respond within a month. To prevent us giving data to the wrong person, we may ask you to identify yourself.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es). If you live in another EU country, you can also go to the authority there.

How we protect your data

The connection with our app and website is encrypted. The app does not work with passwords: you sign in at Google or Apple, and all we receive from that is the confirmation that it is you. So a password of yours never passes through us and cannot leak at our end either. Who may see what data is laid down in the database itself and not in the app, so that those rules apply everywhere and cannot be circumvented. Only someone with a WeSellHomes work account can sign in as staff, and we can revoke that access immediately. Which employee links a client, updates an enquiry or does anything on a client's behalf is recorded.

Children

Our service is not aimed at people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We adjust this policy when our service changes. The date at the top says when that last happened. In the event of a material change, a new purpose or a new recipient for instance, we let you know in the app or by email.
