Right in the middle of Torrevieja on the southern Costa Blanca, Edificio Vento is a small new-build scheme of apartments with one to three bedrooms. A single building rises from the ground floor through four upper levels, mixing ground floor flats, mid-floor homes and two penthouses, with living areas from roughly 48 m² up to about 125 m².
The appeal here is a life lived on foot. The old town starts barely 200 metres away, and both Playa del Acequión and the Real Club Náutico marina sit at around 400 metres. Fresh bread and the weekly shop are close at hand, with a supermarket about 100 metres off. Golfers have a course at about 2 km, and Hospital Universitario de Torrevieja is around 3 km away.
Indoors, air conditioning for heating and cooling is paired with underfloor heating, so winter stays are as comfortable as summer ones. The building faces east and south, looking out over sea, beach and town. Alicante-Elche is the handiest airport at about 36 km, with Murcia at 43 km. All distances are straight-line.

The scheme is one block with a ground floor and four storeys above. Two apartments occupy the ground level, six homes fill the middle floors and two penthouses crown the building. Layouts run from a one-bedroom, one-bathroom flat of about 48 m² to a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home of around 125 m². In each, the kitchen opens onto the lounge and comes fully fitted, and built-in wardrobes plus a utility room are part of the specification.
Eight homes come with their own terrace, and sizes vary widely, from a modest 4 m² to roughly 100 m². The building also offers a solarium and a barbecue. The pool is private rather than communal, so it is not shared among all residents; we are happy to go through which home it belongs to. Facing east and south, the apartments catch plenty of daylight, with views across the sea, the beach or the town.
For year-round comfort, each home is pre-installed for air conditioning that both cools and heats, backed up by underfloor heating. A lift serves the floors, which matters for the penthouses and upper levels if you arrive with luggage or prefer to avoid stairs. An entry phone at the front door lets you check who is calling before you buzz them in.
