Set on the hillside of El Higuerón, where Fuengirola meets Benalmádena, Higuerón West is a new-build development in Fuengirola laid out across twelve low-rise blocks. The height is the point: terraces face south-east or south-west, and depending on the block they look out to the Mediterranean, back towards the mountains, or take in both. Homes come as ground-floor flats, middle-floor apartments and penthouses, each with two bathrooms and either two or three bedrooms, ranging from roughly 75 to 145 m² inside.
Living up the slope does not mean being cut off. The La Capellanía town centre is about 900 metres away as the crow flies, with a supermarket at around 700 metres. Playa de Torreblanca sits about 1.5 km away, Golf Torrequebrada roughly 3.5 km, and Fuengirola's marina 5 km. Hospital Vithas Xanit International is around 4 km off and Málaga Airport about 14 km.
