Residencial Alegria Guardamar is a small new build scheme in Guardamar del Segura, a seaside town on the southern Costa Blanca where daily errands are easily handled on foot. Platja de La Roqueta, a sandy beach, sits roughly 500 metres away, the town centre is a similar distance and there is a supermarket about 200 metres from the door. For a morning swim or the weekly shop, you can leave the car parked.
The building is a single block rising from the ground floor through four further storeys. Homes range from ground floor flats and mid-level apartments to penthouses on the top level, each with two or three bedrooms and around 55 to 75 m² of living space. Every unit has its own terrace, anywhere from just over 4 m² to almost 38 m². Owners share a swimming pool and a barbecue spot, and a lift serves all floors.
Beyond the beach, a golf course and the Port Esportiu Marina de les Dunes are each about 2.5 km away as the crow flies. Alicante-Elche airport is roughly 23.5 km off, which keeps short trips over from the UK or northern Europe straightforward.
