Built around the idea that independence and support can live side by side, The Comm Senior Living is a new-build community for people aged 65 and over in Alfaz del Pi. Its 233 apartments surround a large central building given over to care, social life and cultural activities, with an on-site medical centre and a restaurant.
Homes sit on the ground floor or first floor across 14 low-rise blocks, so there are never many stairs between you and the front door, and lifts are in place. Layouts run from one to three bedrooms with 53 to 141 m² of living space, and every apartment comes with a terrace. A round-the-clock medical alarm in each home links straight to the medical centre, while the gated grounds have cameras and guards.
Everyday errands stay short. As the crow flies, the village centre is about 800 metres away, a supermarket roughly 700 metres and a hospital about 3.5 km. Meliá Villaitana golf course lies around 3 km off, the beach at Platja de l'Albir about 4 km, and Alicante-Elche airport roughly 51 km.
