Calle Miró is a small new build development in Ojén, the hillside village set back from Marbella on the Costa del Sol. It is a single building with a ground floor and two upper floors, holding apartments and a penthouse, each with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Living areas range from 112 to 117 m², and every home has its own terrace.

The appeal here is daily life within a working Andalusian village. Ojén's centre is roughly 300 metres away and a supermarket about 100 metres, with schools, shops and the church close by. The coast remains within easy reach: as the crow flies, Playa del Cable, Marina Marbella and Hospital Quironsalud Marbella are each around 6.5 km away, Río Real golf course about 5.5 km, and Málaga airport around 34.5 km.

The building has a lift and an underground garage, and offers access for people with reduced mobility. Heat pump air conditioning, central heating, photovoltaic solar panels and an A energy rating mean the homes stay comfortable and economical through the cooler mountain winters as well as the summer.

The project

The development consists of one building over three levels: ground floor, first floor and second floor. The choice is between a ground-floor apartment, a middle-floor apartment and the penthouse at the top. Every home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of them en suite, with living areas of 112 to 117 m². The kitchen comes fully fitted and opens onto the lounge, and each home also has a utility room and a storage room.

Outside, a covered private terrace ranges from just over 6 m² to almost 32 m² depending on the home. Views take in the mountains around Ojén and stretch, panoramically, towards the sea. Cars are kept in a covered communal underground garage, and a lift serves every floor. The building is accessible for people with reduced mobility, visitors are let in via an entry phone, and there is a restaurant on site.

Comfort comes from hot and cold air conditioning, central heating, wood flooring and double glazing. The building is connected to gas, telephone and fibre optic broadband, and is fitted with photovoltaic solar panels. Its energy rating is A, at 2.40 kWh/m² per year, a strong figure for a mountain village where winter heating is genuinely used.

Who is Calle Miró for?

Calle Miró suits buyers who would rather live in a genuine village than a coastal resort. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lift make it practical for families, for couples who want room for visitors and for anyone living here year round, with schools and shops on the doorstep. Golfers have Río Real about 5.5 km away. One point to weigh up: there are no private gardens and no communal pool, so outdoor living happens on your terrace.
