Rayos Del Sol is a new-build scheme in El Chaparral, the coastal quarter of Mijas where a golf course, pine woodland and the Mediterranean sit almost side by side. El Chaparral Golf Club is roughly 300 metres away, Playa El Chaparral roughly 600 metres, and the little centre of Chaparral is about 100 metres from the gates. There is a supermarket at around 700 metres.
Two buildings of four storeys make up the complex. Every flat has either two or three bedrooms plus a pair of bathrooms, with living space from about 76 to 101 m². Each one comes with its own terrace, ranging from about 23 m² up to more than 259 m². Residents share a pool with a separate children's pool, landscaped communal gardens and a gym, park underground and have round-the-clock security.
Getting here is straightforward. Málaga Airport lies about 23.5 km away as the crow flies and Fuengirola's marina about 4.5 km, so Rayos Del Sol suits a permanent move to the Costa del Sol just as well as a holiday base you can reach soon after landing.

The scheme comprises two buildings, each rising from a ground level through three further storeys. Most flats sit on the intermediate levels, with a share at street level and a smaller group on the uppermost storey, which serve as the penthouses of the development. Whatever the floor, you get two or three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of them en suite. Interiors measure roughly 76 to 101 m², and the buildings face east and south, so mornings and afternoons are both sunny.
